sorry that the photo is crappy but Levi's under shell looks strange. It's kind of red around the middle where my thumb is and also mirrored on the other side. I'm afraid I'm not doing something right and I was just wondering I any one knows what it might be. Sorry about how he looked strange cause he doesn't like being sideways, thanks a bunch

Ps he also has weird little dots on his belly

I don't see anything wrong with the baby's plastron. It looks perfectly normal to me. Maybe the "red" you're seeing only shows up in real life?

It might not be anything, but he is my first tortoise so I am a little paranoid about everything

Its hard to tell in that pic. Maybe if you had better lighting that would help. I would be curious to see...
