Help Needed

my poor male Hermann's tortoise Charley has rubbed his tale raw whilst matting with my girls, it looks really sore, what should i do ive washed it gently with water to make sure its clean, i was thinking about separating them for a while until his tale heals but im not sure if i should because they like being together and i don't want to course him any stress.

can anybody help please?

You need to seperate him right away as he will only make it worse if you leave him with the females. Keep him clean and on newspaper for a week and it should heal up fine. Than you can set him up normally, but I wouldn't put him back with the females for quite a while.

Anyway if the little guy's problem persists for more than 4 hours, get him a professional girlfriend. Then a doctor.
