My boss is really awesome. I've been with her for 4 years. She takes us to Mississippi State games. My husband isn't a tortoise or any reptile fan. They videoed me opening the gift and I started crying. All my coworkers love the tort now too.

It's just a wire mesh I have to support the plexiglass and to keep the lights from falling in the enclosure. I've heard to many stories of that happening.

I'm sorry…this is a stupid question. The fixture I have says it has two ceramic sockets. Do I need to get different ones?
I think the fixture is just too small for a mercury vapor bulb. if you get a large ceramic fixture it spreads the heat and the UV out better for a wider range.ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1420305406.029663.jpghere is one I got at the feed store. it is about 11 inches wide.you don't have to get rid of the double dome, just put regular lightbulbs in there and it will provide light and heat for the rest of the enclosure if needed.
