Oh oh, its a sulcata. It will get huge! They sent you a wrong tortoise. In the twitter pics its actually a Greek not Hermanni tortoise, but they sent sulcata. Two screw ups on the seller side. Who did you buy this from?

No...don't get all excited! It's definitely NOT a sulcata, however, I don't think its a Hermanni either. I think it's a Greek. @HermanniChris will tell you for sure what you've got.

It's a Greek (Testudo graeca ssp) for sure. It appears to be T. g. terrestris too. The care for this species is different from Hermann's tortoises. It's a more arid species.
