I have a rescued Russian male ( I think) I’ve had him 18 months now, I live in the uk.....in spring and summer he lives during the day in a large 8 ft outdoor enclosure and at night indoors in a 4 ft vivarium with heat lamp and uv light.....last year he slept/hibernated for 8 weeks in the bedroom of his indoor....Waking up at the end of December........this year he has done the same but for 10 weeks.....he has woken up Already as bright as a button, ....I obviously turned the heat off during his sleep, but as I don’t know his background and if he had hibernated before...I just winged it and followed what he decided to do......he is a very healthy weight, eating like mad.....and is like usain Bolt......I rightly or wrongly let him tramp wherever he wants in my kitchen and return him to his vivarium at night......His seasonal clock seems all wrong and that does worry me, but he shows no signs of distress .......is this normal or should I be concerned ......thanks
