RE: help

First off, I have deleted the other threads you made. New members must have their first five posts moderated, which is why the delay. Sorry about that.

Okay you have two RES (red eared sliders). How long have you had them? How big are they? They live in a tank (how big?) with water at 78 (how deep is the water). They have a basking site...do they use it at all? Have they eaten at all? What are you using to tell the temp of the water? Do they have a light over the basking site? How do their shells look?

RE: help

RES usually are bought by the person sick, they are often kept in horrible conditions where illness spreads like crazy, since they are usually illegal to sell under 4 inches (I am assuming they are under 4) so they are often kept in bad conditions. Answer jaqui's questions then we can go from there.

RE: help

Yep, I don't keep RESs (or whatever the plural is), but do provide more information and you will get lots of help!

Welcome to the Forum :D We LOVE PICS :p

Water should be 78 ish
Basking spot over a place that they can climb out of the water
and dry off while basking
Water deep enough that they can freely swim all over the place,
they are superb swimmers.
IMHO of course :D
