My wife had bought this tortoise about 11 years ago as an eastern herman hatchling. It seems to me its a female. I had recently bought another eastern herman male for a reason id rather not discuss. But they are very different. It seems to me "she" is definitely not a western but who knows. The tortoise i had for a while is the bigger one.20180715_191154.jpg 20180715_191214.jpg

You appear to have a Dalmatian or a Dalmatian x eastern Hermann’s cross. The new one is an eastern. If you can post nice, close up shots of the head of the original animal that will help shed some more light.

By the way, if they’re together, they need to be separated. Tortoises should never be kept in pairs :)
