Help! Wounded tortoise !

I went to check out on my tortoise and found his neck wounded!

Will his skin return back to normal ?

You need to figure what caused the puncture in his neck. It will over time just watch for infection and make sure the wound stays clean.

What's the cause? Somehow looks like an ulcer.

I sterilized it with betadine

His behavior is just normal but I want him to get his neck back as usual

I clean it frequently with betadine solution cuz lots of dirt comes on his wound

I saw another thread that cited this type of wound as a severe ear infection, and the guy had to take his tort to the vet. I'm pretty sure the discussion is under the "Health" boards if you want to search on "ear infection"...

Is your tort soaking himself a lot?

A soak him every three days.
He always wants to escape and I always provide him with fresh water but never saw him drink. :s

But today morning I checked him out and he was fine. Then checked on him one more time and then found it !
