This is Henrietta, pic 012.jpg She has been with us since 2006. We have found a new home for her in Maryland, A young newlywed couple is taking her in to stay in a older farm house. She is quiet and very easy to care for. She loves to pose for the camera and she also has a great smile, for a chicken.pic 013.jpg She will be missed but we know she will be in good hands.;)

The usual life-span of a chicken is 8-9 years , so Henrietta is doing well.
They can live up to 15 years though, so Henrietta may have a few good years in her yet if cared for properly.
I wish her well.

Is that an actual live chicken? (There is dust on her eyes.)
BAHAHAHAHA, good catch.
What a good APRIL Fools. So straight faced too about it, bahahahaha:p
I was gonna get all concerned about her moving to a new place after being in the same place she is now for so long.

This was no April Fools Day post,:D:D The only thing that might not be so, is her posing for the camera, I don't know if she loves it or not, and will never know. She was our Mascot for Barnyard Novelties, a company that sold stuff that no one really needed but just wanted to buy for the novelty of what is was. When the economy went to poop in 2008 we shut it down and have no plans to bring it back to life. We will be delivering her to her new home Tuesday after next.
