It's possible... What are your basking, warm & cool side temps? My Hermanns is 8 yrs old & she wants to sleep all day, unless I wake her to feed. Is she trying to hibernate,View attachment 306702View attachment 306703

How big is your enclosure?
The enclosure is 4x2. She isn’t in it all the time. I have a basking spot lite & UVB long bulb. The temp in basking is 82f & 79f in cool side, 51% humidity.
Thanks, I’m in central Texas & it has been so hot here & she is outside. I first thought her sleeping outside was due to finding a cool place. Then we had loads of rain & I brought her inside. Them the nights got to 66 & 61. She is confused & I am too.I’m pretty new to Hermanni but my understanding is that the basking should be around 95F. Maybe she’s not getting warm enough?
What should her cool temp be & her hot temp be. What should her humidity be? I know hermanns don’t need much humidityThanks, I’m in central Texas & it has been so hot here & she is outside. The car sheet Tom just gave you should answer all. But if I'm not mistaken Hermanns do need humidity of at least 60 percent even as adults, a hot spot of a least 90-99 degrees and around 70ish on the cool side. I breed Russians but at these temps I bet could do well with a Hermanns. Members on here will correct me if I'm wrong, But I think you get the idea of ranges that will work for you. What should her cool temp be & her hot temp be. What should her humidity be? You may not need to hibernate. But if you're interested you can type Hermann hibernation in the search at the upper left. I did it just to see and found some good threads. I only read the first few posts. I thought it could help yaI have only had her for 9 months. Never went thru hibernation
