Over the last few days my boys not been as active. Is this somthing to worry about? The only thing I can think that has changed is the external weathers? Any ideas?
What is the whether like back there? If it its too hot/cold, this may have effect on them. Have you been giving them daily soaks in warm water?Over the last few days my boys not been as active. You are most welcome. So last week we had a heatwave, where he was running around like a loony this week we are back to normal mild temps and he seems a bit subdued, he has a warm bath every other day? Thank you for your quick reply.
You are most welcome.
Where do you live? I live in Jordan, and the country is going through a HEAT WAVE whereas temperature has reached about 45 degrees Celcius!I noticed that it did have effect on Oli. It seems that torts do get effected by hot weather, and that it is not at all true that they can cope with BOILING HOT temperatures.
I would suggest a soak every day. Believe me, I give Olia soak THREE times a day when it gets as hot as is now.
Please keep me updated.

How hot was it? I doubt that temperature reached 45 degrees C!!Here in the south east of England my tort is having a much quieter week after last week's hot weather. Nothing to worry about- it sounds like your tort is the same.
35 ish... but I bet your weather doesn't swing by +- 10C or more within a week. That's what leads to erratic tort behaviourHow hot was it? I doubt that temperature reached 45 degrees C!!![]()
Oh goodness! The heat wave has bothered Oli so much.35 ish... but I bet your weather doesn't swing by +- 10C or more within a week. That's what leads to erratic tort behaviourThe UK's weather is totally unpredictable
To be honest, all you can do is let Oli have his daytime when the day is coolest very early in the morning. He will probably sleep for the rest of the time. I don't exactly have much experience of temperatures like you get.Oh goodness! The heat wave has bothered Oli so much.I kept giving him soaks, and at sunset I would take him out for a "walk." Is there anything else I can do? His enclosure is inside and has been moved to the shade.
Appreciate an answer.
