Hey all, I used to have some turtles back in the day and I'm trying to get back into the hobby with some Tortoises! I'm thinking of going with a red foot or two and two selcutas.

Hi Firewarrior565:

Welcome to the forum!! May we know your name and where you are?

I wouldn't even think of getting TWO sulcatas unless I lived in a climate where they can be outside all year. An adult sulcata can be quite destructive when kept contained.

My names Andrew and I'm from good ol Vermont. Yeah, I'm thinking I might just go with red foots instead after doing some research.

Hello and welcome. Love the "tusk" too. Raised a few of those in my day. Yep, sulcatas are my favorite species, but certainly not the best choice for everyone. Glad to see you are doing the research first. Good luck whichever way you choose to go.
