Can anyone tell me if it normal for a redfoots toe nails should be really long with 1 curling over the top ? Thanks

May we know where you are? When we know approximately where you are, it helps us design our answers to better fit your problem.

No, it doesn't sound like your tortoise's toenails are correct. They can be trimmed, but I recommend you have the vet do it the first time, and show you so you can do it if it ever needs doing again.

welcome ... after getting them cut make sure you use some kind of ruff stone around the feeding area so that it keeps the nails trimed
