Thanks! Yeah, this is my first tort. Been a learning experience this past 6 mo. My name is Garrett, I'm 23, and I live in Cali in the foothills near yosemite. We get perfect leopard weather in the summer temps in the upper 90's, and lots of weeds and grass. Those pics are actually pretty old now, his shell has gotten spectacular. He's amazingly social and nothing stresses this guy out. I let him graze for an hour a day outside, but he seems to single out clover which worries me due to it's high protein level. So I only offer him zoo med grassland in his enclosure.

Current pic. He has a certain affinity to ESPN as it's just about the only thing I watch (in school for sports journalism).

P.s. His name will change as he grows like the pokemon.

Yeah I was changing substrates quite a bit in the beginning, but settled on that Eco Earth coconut stuff.
