I got a Marginated tort last year, worked him and didn't hibernate. He's about 7yo. I've read posts saying hibernate for a month the first time then 2 months, then 3 months. He's slowed down so I feel like I should let him sleep now - I'm in the UK, should I use lamps to keep him awake until Jan or just let him sleep now?

This thread may help. Definitely the 1 month, 2 month, 3 month thing is bunk...

Most people don't brumate marginated tortoises. They keep them up. The thread that SinLA linked for you will help you understand stand this better.
