Hibernation

Hi again,
I'm curious on hibernation for torts how long when should it start what do I do...
I was told from where I got moss that since he isn't a year yet that he doesn't
Have to hibernate is this true?

It's true, your tortoise does not need to hibernate in captivity-ever. Tortoises hibernate (actually brumate) in the wild in order to escape the adversity of cold winter temperatures and lack of food. Those hardships need not be present in captivity.

I was getting worried about having to let him brumate... I like to see Moss everyday and make sure he is ok...
