Yes, thats not good, if your tort is breathing through its mouth it needs to be seen by a vet ASAP!!!! As in right now! Take it to the vet.

No, explain to your parents that this has nothing to do with adjusting to a new environment and could be a sign of RI (respiratory infection(s)). For torts, NEVER delay a visit to a vet. Hope everything works out for you.

Thank you all for the support. He seems like a normal little tort, walking around, eating. Then He'll shoot a bubble and then do what he does best, sleep.I've decided to take him to the vet even if i must bus it there. My "rents" think im over reacting but they dont get it.My mother instincts are kicking!Im not crazy right?lol

Here's some pic from today,he's very determined.

You are not over-reacting. You have a problem there. This is usually caused by a drop in temp or too cold temps. Often its the night temps that get you when the lights go out. Is it staying at least 75-80 even during the coldest part of night? It should be. Now that he is sick, I'd bump it up to 85ish around the clock. Temps can be bumped up by lowering the fixtures, raising the wattage on your bulbs, adding more fixtures and bulbs or by heating the entire room.

Good luck and keep us posted.

thanks tom ill keep that in mind. He's in his humidity box.Should i put him in the light? He's on the cold side of his enclosure. Its usually around 70 on that part.I think i'll slide his lamp over a bit closer to him. He's been burrowing under the substrate and got plenty of heat and sunshine today.

You can't use humidity and let it get cool like that. 70 is way too cool if its humid, even in a humid hide box. It should be no lower than 80. Get him warmer quick.

I agree 110% with Tom. Bump all temps (ambient air, basking, cool spot) up 5F to prevent the RI from gettting any worse. You might wanna use a 60w ceramic heat emitter (CHE) or a black incandescent bulb overnight to keep him warm if the temps fall below Tom's recommendation.

Hot and humid is alright, cool and humid is not...

Please explain to your "rents" that tortoises hide the symptoms of sickness as that would show weakness and that would be bad. So they hide any sickness symptoms so by the time the symptoms become obvious that means the animal has been sick for a long time and is now VERY sick. So if you are seeing signs of sickness he's really sick and needs to be seen by a Vet right now...don't wait go now!
