Hello
You should get a hide for your sulcata ASAP. I have an Hermann and he always sleeps in it at night, he really loves his hide, he feels very secure in it.

ya but the reason i dnt have one is because my tort is very shy and i think if i put one in there she would be in it all the time. do you think that would be bad cuz if not ill get one...and what would be the best kind / store bought, cardboard, wood or rock

I prefer wood (non toxic).
But give her a hide, she'll thank you, and of course she will get out when she wants, don't worry. ;)

We used to have a cardboard one for Ralph. We replaced it as necessary (when it got wet, too small, etc). Then we "upgraded" to a rubbermaid tub with a hole cut in it. Now he has a dogloo. He also has a rubbermaid tub but he never goes in it.
