I have 2 adult proven female Eastern Box Turtles. Both have resided here in a large outdoor pen for more than 2 years now. The larger female laid a clutch of 5 fertile eggs last year and the other laid a fertile clutch of 3 this year. Both are some of the highest colored females you will see. Unfortunately most cameras do not capture color well but these girls are a deep orange red and have incredible shell and head patterns.
