You guys don't take chances. If you need a cool shower/bath during the day do it! Stay full of water. Heat sick isn't like cold sick. It takes all day to rebound from even a mild case and most of you, ok us are too old to count on "rebounding"! The other dangerous part is that for a period before you go under you will be incoherent and will make very bad decisions.

Don't make me mourn anyone cause I'll tell on you for being stupid when i get up there in 20 years or so! 😆

A cool thing;
We had then lost a Osprey nest on the water here when It was abandoned earlier this year. Despite, we have been hearing eagle calls in "the hunting pattern" that sounded like Osprey teaching their young over last weekend so yesterday we took a walk..we were wrong about the Osprey. They are Bald Eagle calls!

The other adult was in hunting mode on the backside of the creek. Cool as heck!

The fireflies are heavy tonight...its still light at 830 and they are out in force!

It's interesting. I decided I was going to try and crochet a few bucket hats for donation to the infusion center I go to for my osteoporosis shots. They also do cancer patients. I've taken a bracelet and prayer cloth from the little things that they have for us there to cheer us up. And it does. I felt like I wanted to give back. So I was trying to come up with a nice hat for the ladies etc..or men, kids too suffering from cancer. Then my sister called me and she has just been diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer. She wants one with lots of color!!! I've found a cute pattern that can be transformed into anything. Wish I had enough time to do a firecracker bucket hat 😉 here's my first experimental one . It only has a couple of rows to go.IMG_20260630_184432543.jpg

Sorry to hear about your sister MS Cathie. The hat idea is both meaningful for you and for those that receive a handmade gift from a stranger. Somehow it adds humanity to being human! Cool thing girl!

Oh, I received an alert from the Park Service yesterday. A couple of roads are closed today in Yellowstone park....yup because of snow!

My mom loved to crochet. I will always remember she was crocheting a large tablecloth. She was almost done and noticed she missed a stich in the pattern way back in her work. She pulled all her work back to that area to fix. I said to her no one will notice. She said I will know and it will bother me forever unless I fix.

Yep that's how I am.😉🙃 too. It's no biggie though. just fix it and keep doing what you like to do anyway for a bit. But you soon learn to be a little more careful 😉

Good evening everyone!

My adult Piano pupil passed his grade 2 Piano exam 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉!

Natrah
That's really interesting to me but yeah!!! How old is the student and what is grade 2 according to your standards. The reason it's interesting to me is I was an adult when I started actual lessons. Is the student exceptionally talented. It's hard to start learning as an adult but not impossible.😊

Yeah you guys are spending a little time in Hades. What did you DO! Sorry it's not funny, im just an azz.
The lady who we gave our temp AC unit to a bit ago sent us a picture while we were in Alabama of her contractors installing her new mini-split systems! Very neat for her. I wish we could sent the unit to you gals to use!

Journeys for me have evolved over time MG and now are like "classrooms, the extended version". But we all know home is tops and we got home at 130 in the morning. Was there any doubt?

I have to share;
Kerry makes a horrible front seat passenger, just terrible. She rides with a pillow to cover her face while screaming like an old shrew every time I take my eyes off the road! Shrew I tell you....😅😅 We will have to work on this.
She likes to drive and cries like a baby when she doesn't get her way...jeez. We put 3200 miles on the car, I drove 350 total miles....i just can't handle any more of her "shrewness" than 350 miles worth!😁😁 I actually don't mind a bit being chauffeured by a pretty girl all the time but once in a while i need to flex. LOL

Great trip, great graduation, great to see in-laws Dino & Diane, great to see Ray and Rose along with Nana, Sully and Opo, great weather, great people, great experiences along the way and great God we're broke!

Enjoy the day guys
Oh my if only my wife would drive. She is a passenger princess even setting up in the whole backseat for longer trips so she can really stretch out. She offers drive the last 3 miles, but knows it would take longer to switch than just have me finish.

Love watching World Cup but after watching a couple clean games like the US match win the other day as well as the England win over DR Congo yesterday, I can't stand watching the "flopping" that some of the others engage in.

Tighten up Buttercups!
LOL

In other news:
