You guys don't take chances. If you need a cool shower/bath during the day do it! Stay full of water. Heat sick isn't like cold sick. It takes all day to rebound from even a mild case and most of you, ok us are too old to count on "rebounding"! The other dangerous part is that for a period before you go under you will be incoherent and will make very bad decisions.

Don't make me mourn anyone cause I'll tell on you for being stupid when i get up there in 20 years or so! 😆

A cool thing;
We had then lost a Osprey nest on the water here when It was abandoned earlier this year. Despite, we have been hearing eagle calls in "the hunting pattern" that sounded like Osprey teaching their young over last weekend so yesterday we took a walk..we were wrong about the Osprey. They are Bald Eagle calls!

The other adult was in hunting mode on the backside of the creek. Cool as heck!

The fireflies are heavy tonight...its still light at 830 and they are out in force!

It's interesting. I decided I was going to try and crochet a few bucket hats for donation to the infusion center I go to for my osteoporosis shots. They also do cancer patients. I've taken a bracelet and prayer cloth from the little things that they have for us there to cheer us up. And it does. I felt like I wanted to give back. So I was trying to come up with a nice hat for the ladies etc..or men, kids too suffering from cancer. Then my sister called me and she has just been diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer. She wants one with lots of color!!! I've found a cute pattern that can be transformed into anything. Wish I had enough time to do a firecracker bucket hat 😉 here's my first experimental one . It only has a couple of rows to go.IMG_20260630_184432543.jpg
