Just had one of the two homeanas I acquired-by accident, were meant to be erosa, go into a kind of state of aestivation. Hadn't seen him in the enclosure for two weeks or so, but I thought he'd be OK, but I looked for him and found him looking very much like a dead tortoise. Wouldn't even respond to his toes being touched. We've had some cold nights recently as we had a problem with heating, and he seemed to have completely shut off in a dry area of the enclosure if that makes a difference. But, I put him in some water, and a few hours later, he was fine. Haven't checked this morning yet though.
We know that some kinixys go into these states in the wild, but never had any proper reports of erosa or homeana doing it, just a few people saying that it might happen. Anyone else had something like this? @tortadise , @Jacqui , @Will

Yep they do this. Especially Erosa during this time. The dry season is in effect now. So naturally they're going to be a little less active than normal.
