So i made a humid hide out of a yellow, plastic garden bucket as shown below in the picture,
I cut it out for size with a pair of scissors so it would fit in my enclosure took 10-15 mins to complete longest part was cutting with scissors the plastic is pretty tough!
i put 'Zoomed Sphagnum moss' inside it with a thin layar of
'Zoomed Forest floor substrate' on top of the 'Sphagnum Moss'
Cut a open big enought for my tortoise to enter/exit comfortably!
I also put some 'ZooMed Sphagnum moss' on the roof of it not for humidity or anything just to hide that its bright Y-E-L-L-O-W i had a black one but it was too small.........I also put fake plants ontop also to hide the Y-E-L-L-O-W--
My tortoise is a 5 year old RedFoot tortoise which is about 6"
Is this shelter okay?,
I posted it on here to give people ideas and to also show noobies how easy it is to make one...AND HOW CHEAP!
