How do I make a humid hide?

I have sphagnum moss do i just put it inside his hide. He has a slate hide and a half log hide which one would be better suited?

I have some inside mines hide and over in one of the corners that I keep moist. Spray it with a water bottle a few times a day and have a gauge to monitor the humidity
