Is there anyone that can give me any pictures and or advice on what an indoor habitat should be for a seven year old african sulcatta should be?

Hi will4rocky, and welcome to the Forum!

In my opinion, a seven year old sulcata is way too big to try to contain in some sort of indoor habitat. He needs an outdoor shed where he can come and go as he pleases. You can provide heat inside the shed so when he gets cold he goes back inside to warm up. When they have access to outside and can feel how cold it is, they are much happier to stay inside their shed. But when you have them in a container in the house, they try to escape all the time and never settle down.

Yvonne, would that a heated shed with access to the outside work in Phio's winter climate? We have our newest rescue in a heated garage, but since its built for two cars, he does have ample room to roam. I closed the walkway to the outside for winter. He has lights and plenty of edible landscaping and several hides and a hill and a soak with hear lamps above it to keep it at a warm temp. We just rescued him from life on the street. Very deformed but sweet and very happy to be off the road. About 40 pounds. Severe pyramiding and started to flatten in back with some odd indentations on both sides of his shell near the back

Im curious 2. Anyone have photos of a shed they converted 2 have some electricity ? Right now they are in a huge heated garage as well ... But we bought a 2006 house with a shed but want to make it so my Sulcata's can wander in when its cold & come out for grazing & sun bathing, because my back is killing me...
