My husband is laughing at me right now cause I'm trying to make dinner quietly so as not to wake Gomez and Morticia, my desert torts who are snoozing at the other end of the kitchen in their Rubbermaids. Have I lost my mind? Maybe don't answer that...

They (torts) don't hear the same way we do...they can hear but they are more in tune with vibration and deep sounds (percussion) than high pitched sounds....

So, unless you are thudding about like you are dancing on drums---or if you are yelling across the yard to call the kids in---then you should be aok :D

Have I lost my mind?

So so sooooooooo held back on this one :p:p:p:p:p

Well they slept through me making sausage and peppers and my husband shouting at the Kings game, so they are sound little sleepers (and not hockey fans).

I have to say, since we started moving them inside at night, I really enjoy being able to peek in on them in a way that I can't when they're asleep in the burrow. I dunno how much they like it, but their mom's happy.
