Had some pyramiding when I got her. She has a flat section on the back and I was not sure if it was normal. Shell seems hard and sound.

It looks pretty good now. How long have you had the tortoise?

Well, it looks as though you are doing things properly. The shell appears to be growing normally now.

Your tort looks relatively well.

Keep up the good work. :)

Hi, I saw the water "bowl" on your pic. They are good for cats or dogs for drinking but for a tort you need a flat terracotta plant coaster. Torts like to sit in the water and drink.
Even for a good hydration it is better when the tort can sit in the water.

Hi Bee, the picture does not show it but there is a wick cloth from the bowl to her hide that allows the water to wick over the side slowly and keep the humidity up in the hide.

Bee, she gets out of the pen each day for about an hour in an area that has a full soak tub and sunlight. Great feedback, thanks...
