Hey guys. So I know you can't tell me the exact amount of food a tort needs, but could somebody give me a rough estimate? I have a 6 year old greek tort and he's about 5 1/2" length wise. I feed him a big handful of greens every morning and snacks throughout the day, but when I take him outside he won't stop eating. I'm not sure if I'm not feeling him enough or if it's something else. He's a wild caught with injuries that I bought from a pet store. Here he is, chomping away. That's about how much I feed him in the morning right there. Suggestions?

Hey there. If he was out in the wild roaming about no one would be deciding how much to eat other than your tort. I would provide a lot more so he can pick and choose and eat up, etc. I'm sure you will find an amount where he doesnt gobble it all up and you can feed that amount daily.
