How much should he be fed

I have a 8 year old tortoise and he is starting to eat ALOT lately and ill give him about 1 -2 handful that includes his spring mix and he will finish it in about 30 mins-1hr and he'll be climbing up the walls and making so much noise and he does seem hungry during the day when he's done his food
So how often and how much food should he get daily

How big is his enclosure?

It's not big enough for him but it's just temporaryi am going to build him a 4ft x2ft tortoise table soon hopefuly next week
Right now it's 2ft x2ft and 32 inch

I'm going to guess that he isn't hungry, just bored/confined.

How long have you had him? Has he been tested for parasites? Have you weighed him to see if he is under or over weight?

What is his weight and length have you checked it using the Jackson scale ? My tort when I purchased her looked and felt like a good weight by the eye but when I did the Jackson calculator I was surprised she was under weight.
