I know you said that the sulcata was a juvenile, but just how big is he?
If he's outside and grazing, I wouldn't bother giving him any spring mix. If you want to add something to the graze, you could give him some grape leaves or mulberry leaves. Then you can feed him a cactus pad every so often too. Those items are pretty high in calcium. And if you still soak him, you can add a few drops of liquid bird vitamins to his soaking water about once a week.

your idea sounds alot easier and more practical dean. where can i get cactus. i was told i need to go to a mexican store. but i don't know where one is around here. ralplh's definetly doesn't carry anyDeanS said:AGAIN! I personally feed Mazuri and cactus...ONLY! They can graze at will but feed them Mazuri and cactus in the same spot everyday! If your tortoise is kept outside daily and fed these two items (plus grazing)...you don't need anything else! No spring mix...No calcium...No TNT...NOTHING!
