Hey guys,

I was wondering how often you feed your sulcata Mazuri? Does it depend on size, age, weight, etc?

Dash is right at a year old and weighs 7 oz. (or 200g).

Thanks

I normally feed my two 3 times a week and they are almost a year old, but they still get greens along with them. They really like it and from what I can see it does help with growth. Mine only get a few "nuggets" each time, I use it more like a supplement not their main food source.

I know you asked about Sulcata, but I'll answer anyway. Our leopard gets Mazuri 2-3 times per week. About 6 pellets each time.

We moisten the Mazuri and then put it inside an endive leaf. It ends up looking like a Mazuri/Endive hot dog.

Twice a week, soaked and mixed in with greens. I use it sort of like a "multi-vitamin" to make sure they are getting everything they need.

it varies.. I use it when i didnt have time to go pick as much food, or when they ahve grazed thier pen low, or if the weather has been bad, but now its warming up, i give them a boost..
When its cold, they tend not to come out and eat... so i like giving it to them when it has warmed up.. a tummy full of goodness.
I feed it dry.

I use it a couple days a week, but my love to graze on the grass more. I think some people use it more in the winter and less in the summer when grass and other natural food are more readily available.

I feed it several times a week, softened with warm water. I always mix it with greens, never just Mazuri..
