how often should hermans wee?

The hermans I bought a couple of weeks ago is worrying me , more and more. At first I noticed a funny smell and took him / her to the vets. the vet told me the shell was fine , no shell rot , but to bathe in an iodine solution , which I have done.
Ive been watchin the little fella quite a bit and have noticed it wees (Pees , urinates) a hell of alot , much more than my other two. it sticks its head in shell and looks like its pushin with all of its strength.
It eats fine and drinks fine. He was a bit sickly looking when I bought him , shell was soft and skin very cracked on head , but not broken.
any ideas please

Hi,
It's possible your Hermanns has a stone and is trying to pass it. What are you feeding and what kind of supplements are you using?
If his shell is soft you've got a long road ahead to get him better.
Was the vet you brought him to an exotic vet that has treated tortoises before?
