I may be a little paranoid, but I'm completely freaked out that Pebbles may develop pyramiding and it legitimately is my biggest fear (other than Salmonella). So I posted a picture a while back of when i first got her, and then I was told to stop feeding her protein pellets, and I read that too much protein can cause pyramiding; well maybe it's just me being paranoid, but today when I was soaking her I thought that I noticed that one part of her shell was a little raised. I'm not sure if this is normal or not.
I've posted pictures of Pebbles below.

The old growth is a little raised but the new growth looks pretty smooth. You can changed what was done before you got her but it looks like your doing all the right things now...

I was hoping that's what you meant! Thank you! She has me paranoid sometimes, I don't want to do anything wrong!

That danged protein thing just won't go away, will it? It has a very little pyramiding- pretty darn smooth for a captive tort!

The idea is that they be kept well hydrated and healthy. So just make sure your husbandry is on point, and don't worry about any possible, slight almost-bumps.
