Sometimes my male Russian seems a little extra active, or maybe "frisky"? I have seen him getting "friendly" (for lack of a better word) with a rock in his enclosure before. Is there anything I can possibly provide to perhaps help him chill out a bit? Thanks! :)

Nope. That is a male and that is what they do. Some are worse than others. Being that we still import so many russians, I am a supporter of captive breeding whenever possible. You could get him half a dozen females and set them all up in a large outdoor enclosure with lots of bushes and hiding spots. That would probably settle him down a bit, or at least put his "energy" to good use.

Haha, thanks! My boyfriend and I were thinking that there probably wasn't much we could do, but I figured I would ask! ;D
