I just wanted to know how everyone's doing with their "bosses"? My babies are doing wonderfully and growing nicely, I've come into my own routine and I'm. Growing lots of healthy foods for them and we're getting along very nicely together. Tula is very much enjoying her garden as well and she's much more active now that the warm weather has set in, I've found her behind the cable box, under our bed, in the spare bathroom, and she rams my foot a lot (I think she does this when she is frustrated and wants to go outside, but I'm not really sure) so she gets to go outside a lot! How is it coming with you?

Man, I so need to get a new video and thread going to show you guys how funny and lively Taco has been in the recent warm weather we've been having. She's a little monster about insisting she be allowed to roam the open yard, and it's positively heartwarming to watch her march around with her little pipecleaner belt and jingle bell as she explores every inch of her territory...I can't believe how much I love that little reptile. :p

My kids are up to 80g and really mowing the mixed greens growing in the table. It's a good time to introduce new and exciting foods like different Opuntia species and other local cactii.

New super adult table is under way to allow more room for plants.

My outdoor pens are mostly done, and now I get to start worrying about retrofitting my shed to house part of my growing family this winter!!!

I am getting three new family members in the next two weeks, a male Three Toed boxie, a male Redfoot, and a male Homes.

Hoping for eggs this fall....

So where on your property do you and your husband habitate?

Is there some isolated corner that is not already sheltering Chelonians? :p

Congratulations on your newest tenants. :D

LOL, well, we do still have a bit of space for the kids to play, but the rest of the house/yard is pretty well overrun :D

Well two of my bosses (The Joisey boyz, 2 small/med sulcata males) are happy. Yesterday, we got up their temp outside pen. It's only about 12' by 50' but if it holds them, then we can enlarge it to 12' by 100' or so and may actually make most of it 24' rather then 12' wide. It's where the permanent Redfoot pen will someday go, once I get their permanent pen figured out.

The house is just so quiet with almost all the tortoises and turtles once more back outside. It's just the best feeling to see them taking those first steps of the year outside. You can almost imagine that your seeing them looking at their large expanse of land, breathing deeply the fresh sun warmed air, and thinking, "All right! This is what life is meant to be.":D
