Humidity at night?

At bedtime I turn the light and fogger off and just leave the CHE on. At night the temp drops to around 82F. Should I be leaving the fogger on at night too?

I'm not a Sulcata keeper so hopefully someone else will respond for you.

Leopards are similar care wise. I keep my enclosure fully covered at night to trap the humidity. An open top with a che and no fogger would probably dry out pretty fast.

This depends on a few factors. Does your tortoise sleep in a humid hide box, or out in the open? Is the entire enclosure staying 82 or just one spot? Is your tortoise looking fairly smooth so far?
