Does the entire enclosure need to be at 80% humidity?? Or only the humid hide? How does everyone keep this humidity up??
For the top? We're going to add glass sliding doors which will help.
As long as you seal as much as the enclosure as possible to keep air from escaping then having moist substrate will be sufficient. You don't want the substrate to be soaked, but just moist. Usually dumping water on it once a week or so is enough. What kind of heating and lighting are you planning for this new enclosure?Oh. For the top we are doing a wood cover. It just isn't shown in this photo. Do you do anything besides wet the substrate to increase the humidity?
