Ed, I think you guys are talking about 2 different seed mixes. It looks like OP is talking about seed that you plant in your garden to attract butterflies and hummingbirds, yours seem to be the bird feeder seeds. My wife has bird seed mix and it is mostly Rapeseed and Millet that grow the best and fastest and that my tortoises chomp on if they get a chance.
I don't think these would attract butterflies, etc.
