So when I was soaking Mrs.Turtle today I decided to finally just trim her beak with clippers. I was worried that her beak would splinter. But I I did it anyways and boy am I glad she didn't get hurt.

Taken on the 25th of November

Here is her now December 12th

Did I do ok? Or should I do more? Also Is it good to soak them before clipping there beaks or claws?

You did a great job on the beak though. I think it looks good, file down a bit, and now you can feed her on something that will help file it down. I see my turtles and torts also biting at a big rocks in all of the enclosures very often and I convinced that's what they are doing.

I filled her beak and I put her in the tub again cause she looked like she was going to poo. Here's a pic of her when we first got her.ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1481599959.018136.jpg

I did just take a picture of a picture.

Its still a little long, but it looks like you trimmed off the worst of the parts that seemed like they wanted to break off. Now feed it on a hard surface like slate, for example, and the turtle can work on wearing down the rest.
