Can anyone tell what kind of snake this is? He has been living in my pond for a few weeks. He is under water in the picture, so it is not the clearest picture.

looks like a highly likely water moccasion aka cottom mouth

Best guess is a water moccasin or a cotton mouth is another name for them.
