I think this is a "Red Ear Slider"?

someone gave this to a friend of my husband and he does not have internet. We need to know what this baby is so it can be properly cared for

Certainly looks like one. Big question, does it have red where it's ears would be , if they had ears that is.

That's definitely a slider. Can I see her tail and underside of shell? Females are pretty big. Just trying to see what you've got.

I don't have this baby...it was given to a friend of mine but I will get more pics when i can, now I can tell him how to take care it....he has no internet

The picture is mighty blurry.. but that looks like one to me. This is mine, in a very poor picture. It's hard to see the red stripes, because of the glare of the sun, but there is one red stripe on both sides of her head, where her ears would be.
