hello, I was outside my house in Northern California and saw this what I believe is a Russian Tortoise. Could anyone help verify and possible sex it too? Thanks

I found a male Russian in my yard, too! I took him inside tonight, because the rain is getting hard (and it's been raining for three days now), but who knew there were so many free range Russian tortoises in Norther California?
