I'm not quite sure I'm "getting" it, but if your link option says "img...." then copy that img code and paste it here in your reply.

If you are using the picture option here on the forum, you hit "browse" then it comes up with all the pictures in your computer. You pick the one you want then follow the instructions.

Sudhira to have an img code you have to use a server like photobucket.com or tiny.com When you upload your pics to them they will supply you with an img code that you will copy and paste.
If the picture is on your computer you click new reply (if it is already in an open thread like here) then click the browse button wtowards the bottom where it says attachments. once it downloads the attachment you click the add attachment button. then click the preview post to see if it has been added to the bottom of your post.

If you use www.photobucket.com then when you copy and paste the img code the picture will open in the post. where you can comment before or after each individual picture.

Send me the rest of the pics and I will post them for you. From what I see it looks like it could be Jordanian/Antakyan cross? But need those other two pics to tell for sure.

A pic of the plastron? And what other photo do you require? Thank you!

Also...I was told by a fellow that this tortoise was probably wild caught? The pe shop had very little info, in fact they called it a "Russian Tortoise" He was in the smallest glass enclosure in sand, poor little creature. I had to rescue him. Probably gonna cost me $$$$, but I don't care...

We made a really nice enclosure today, in my Greenhouse, which is not humid BTW...

Thanks for your help!

It's a male :p He is WC, but from quite a while ago. We stopped importing Greeks from Turkey in 1994, so he's a long term captive. Someone probably lost him. You might want to post some flyers, saying you found a tortoise. Just don't say what it is. If no one claims him than you can keep him.

So Sudhira you actually bought the Greek from a pet store, you didn't find it Correct? If you bought it from a pet store I would say it is definitely yours, and I'd skip the flyers. Or if you decide to try and put up flyers and it is claimed I would let them know the fee you paid for it and recoup your money. Someone may have just turned him into the pet store saying they couldn't care for it anymore that is happening more an more these days. Unfortunately they don't give any information on it so the pet stores just guess (and most aren’t very good at it). Congrats on your Iberia Have you chosen a name yet?

My daughter brought home to what we though was a Calif DT, turned out to be this little guy. I sure hope he is healthy, we won't be able to see a vet until next week. Appetite is great, poop looks good, he made a great doo when I soaked him, then he pooed another good one in his water dish yesterday.

I placed the heat emitter on today and have the T-Rex arriving tomorrow. Put Timothy Hay in the enclosure along with some dryish Mexican Feather Grass. He has a den, and seems to be doing well.

Originally we called him "Houdini" as he tried to leave the enclosure, now knowing that Turkey is his home, we may come up with some great Turkish name...we'll see!

I am already very attached to him!

I am curious about hibernation, should or shouldn't...more reading, more searching!

Because he is new to you I would not hibernate this year. If you keep the temps optimum and the light just like summer he will do fine without hibernating. That way you get to know him better and know he is not ill and is continueing to eat well and put on wt. Oh that reminds me it is best to have a scale that reads out grams it is a more accurate way to weigh them then set up a schedule for his wts. A big drop in wt can let you know there is something wrong long before you would notice it otherwise. JMHO.
