So I went and ordered myself a Tortstork.com instahatch egg! ( redfoot) just have to be patient while I wait now.....!!!
So I cannot find an old thread I saw about setting up an ideal hatchling starter tub enclosure ?
Any suggestions?

Search through the forum and you will find about 50 different examples. Personally I like using aquariums for hatchlings, best size for the money is the 40 gallon (breeder). Needs to be something you can cover or enclose to control humidity.

I've learned so much since signing on to the Forum, and the most recent thing I've learned is that it's so very easy to provide a good hatchling environment in a closed chamber. I was lucky to have a tortoise partner who just happened to have several extra Vision cages and he has loaned me three. This is how I raise all my leopard babies up until it's time for them to move to San Diego for selling:

Awesome, your in for a great experience. Easiest most effective enclosure is get a plastic tub and screw a radiant heat panel and Uvb fixture into the lidlarge.jpeg1289977-center-1.jpegThen setup your heat panel on a thermostat61J93u5BzEL._AC_SY450_.jpgThen add substrate, decorations, and Tortoise ?
