The orange/red thing on the back is from a 3-d printer. If my two brain cells are relaying the proper information between them, it seems to me it was felt to be needed due in part to exposed carapace bone.Welcome to the Forum, Dr. Malik!

It looks like a desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii), however if you're not in the western U.S. it's probably not. Can you give us more pictures of the animal? Straight down, front and underside.

Certainly not marginated. It's a greek.The one on the top left looks like a marginated tortoise. The one on the bottom left has severe pyramiding and doesn't look healthy, i don't know the species of the bottom left tortoise.
