In my introduction forum, I've been told I have a three-toed male turtle.
My questions are to just double make sure that's what 'he' is, and to determine which species forum I should ask my questions (I didn't really see a 'three-toed turtle' discussion section).

About the gender, I would fully believe that he is a guy, but when I looked online at a number of sources, they said a male would have a slight depression in his belly, and my turtle has a definite flat belly shell.

His name was duke, then it changed to Duchess, should I change it to duke again?

I've moved your thread to the Box Turtle Bonanza section, because your turtle isn't a tortoise, but a three-toed box turtle (Terrapene Carolina triunguis). At first glance I thought "Duke" however when I saw the tail picture I thought "Duchess." Is there any way you can get us a more clear picture of the tail? Some males have no indentation on the plastron and some have a very definite indentation. When you rub your finger over the spot where a belly button would be, do you feel an ever so slight indent?

I tried to get clearer pictures, but this turtle kept moving!

I also thought female because of the more domed shape.
