Indian Star Tortoise Fell

My Star Indian tortoise fell yesterday from a height of around 1.5ft. He was traumatised initially and was not even walking or taking his head out but later on he had his food normally. But, Today I gave him warm water to poop and he was making loud sound and I am not able to understand what he is trying to say. Could anyone please help on what to do.

That height of 1.5 feet is not all that far for the tortoise to fall. How big is the tortoise and did it land on a hard surface like concrete or on grass or on dirt, or maybe on a rug? Are there any cracks or chips in the shell? Any bleeding of the shell or from the nose?

If not, there is probably nothing to do now other than just waiting to see if the tortoise begins acting normally in the next few days.

More info needed. were you holding him? Was he on a table? When he landed were his feet and head extended or pulled in? What was a 1.5 above the floor?
