Eggs will be 1 month tomorrow!!!!! I have seen movement in 5 of the 6 eggs. Question is, If they have made it this far is their survival rate good? I have worked so hard to do whatever needed for these little guys and scared to death that something may happen to them. Are they out of the danger zone?

I'm curious to what type of eggs your talking about. (species)
Also are you candling them ? I'm very surprised you see movement at this early stage ( 4 weeks?) of development.

They are Eastern Box Turtles. My Husband was getting his dirt bike out to ride and saw her laying eggs at the end of our drive way (June 5th). We didn't want to mess with her and after reading about it on the internet we decided to unearth them 2 days later. We were going to do the wire protective cover but have a few kids in the area and were afraid they'd mess with them. Actually I've seen two of they embryo's moving about 5 days ago. Then checked again tonight and 5 out of the 6 have movement.SOOOOOOOOO darn cute!!!!!! It's amazing! I video taped it as well. If there's a way to post it on here let me know and I'll do so. I've keep the room their in at a steady 83-84 and always 80% humidity. I'll post a few pics. We know their no older than that because we know the exact date they were laid. BTW thet will be going to sarrets nature center when hatched.
