As you may know, my het for Ivory female sulcata laid 9 eggs a couple weeks ago. (By the way only 6 look viable) So Im hearing that she could lay another clutch in like another month!? Is this true?
Are they breeding continuously? If you're concerned about sperm retention in sulcatas, apparently it diminishes greatly from laying session to laying session (if there's no mating in between).
Oh wow. I didnt know that. I thought she ("Pebbles") would just keep pooping out eggs. Ok well she is with her boyfriend "BAM BAM" and they get it on quite often. I just heard that once she starts to lay then this is her "season" and she will continue to have clutches.
My 13yo female shares an enclosure with her hubby and the mate daily; if not more often. She lays a viable clutch every 3months roughly. depends a lot on the weather too if we get a cold spell she will wait to lay. Hope that helps; goodluck!
