Hi everyone, my Eddie is out in his outdoor run that I put him out in for a few hours when the sun is out but do you think he's enjoying it? He just seems to do laps and it reminds me of a caged animal!

Its 6' by 3' so big enough and he is a Horsfield, I tried to upload a video but it wont let me!

What do you think?

Thanks

Kim

It looks like a tortoise heaven I’m sure he’s loving it, only thing that isn’t good is that I can’t see a water dish! If there isn’t one I recommend putting one in so he doesn’t get dehydrated!

I hope he does like it! There is a water dish but you cant see it in the photo. Theres a shelter and water tray in the sheltered end.

Thank you x

Aww, Eddie is adorable. Your did a great job on his enclosure!
Look at his eyes. I always look at my animals eyes. They say a lot. Get used what your little Eddie does so you can get a sense of him. To me he is happy, checking out his new digs. His legs all hanging out means he's relaxed and not afraid. Torts always case their homes, it's good exercise and building up their torty muscles. (LOL)

Yay, Kimbles2009, you are doing a great job! Welcome to the Tortoise Forum and enjoy your Little Eddie, they grow up fast!

I don't think 6x3 is large enough for a horsefield. Twice that size would be okay. Looks like it needs more cover and plants to snuggle into.
